Ahmedabad. Rahul Gandhi has received a setback from the High Court in the defamation case related to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Modi surname. Rejecting Rahul Gandhi’s plea, the court refused to stay his two-year sentence. The High Court said – apart from this case, there are at least 10 pending cases against Rahul. In such a situation, there is no need to interfere in the decision of the Surat court.
Surat’s sessions court sentenced Rahul Gandhi to 2 years on 23 March 2023. However, he got bail 27 minutes after this verdict. And the very next day, on March 24, at 2:30 pm, Rahul’s MP had gone.
